NEWS YOU NEED TO KNOW: CONFERENCE CALL NOTES

Pharmacist / Manager Conference Call
November 11, 2020 – 8:30 am

Take a few minutes and Huddle with your team over these notes.

PLUS ONE MOMENTS
SOLUTION CENTER – Melodi:  Olivia found a Valdosta patient who qualified to be moved to LTC.  After conversation with patient, Melodi realized that he had an insurance issue, his wife had lost her insurance, and they needed to sign up for Med D.  Melodi had a face-to-face meeting with the couple.  She explained how Medicare works, helped get the wife insurance, got both of them extra help for coverage, and set them up on Med D.

MED D – Patrick complimented the Med D team on how they have collaborated to make everything run smoothly. This team has been put together to take care of all our patient's needs. Open enrollment continues through December 7th.  Educate your team on how we can help their patients.

EMPLOYEE MOMENTS –  Kelsie Staten has started with us and she is training with Debbie now.  She will  be taking Debbie’s place when she retires in December.  Please welcome her to the team.

CHANCY DRUGS HEALTH INSURANCE -  Open enrollment for employee benefits with Chancy Drugs ends on November 20th.  This information has been emailed to you, and can be found here our Chancy Drugs Employee Page.   If you are declining insurance, you will need to log in and decline.  If you currently have coverage, you will need to sign up for the coming year.  Gus, Corey and Kristen will be coming around to the stores next week to answer any questions.

NEW CHANCY DRUGS APP -  Starting next week we will be educating our team on Rx Local, the new app for Chancy Drugs.  Our current app is handled by Digital Pharmacist and that will be stopping on December 15th.  Everyone will need to change over to the new, very user friendly app.  Kristen and Megan have worked hard to get a QR code attached to every receipt to make it easy for our patients to download the app. Click here to complete the mandatory employee education on RX Local.

CHRISTMAS PARTY POSTPONED -  After reviewing the COVID numbers in our area, we have decided that we don’t want to risk the health of any of our team members. So we have postponed our Christmas Party with plans to have an event this Spring.  Enjoy the holiday season and be safe.

Our next conference call will be Thursday, November 19 at 8:30 am.
