COVID Clinic Appreciation: Working the Hahira Depot COVID Clinic was an extremely humbling experience. We had wonderful responses from the community, including from the Mayor and Fire Chief. These have been posted on Facebook. We also received a couple of notes from those who received a vaccine at this site. They thanked us for having a very kind staff, and commented that the experience was efficient and went very smooth. It was a great experience, and a local couple said that they are blessed to have such a caring pharmacy in their community.
COVID CLINICS – We will be taking the COVID Clinic to our pharmacies. Covid vaccine clinic hours will 9:30am – 3:30pm. Appointments are required.
- Valdosta on Friday, January 29
- Valdosta on Tuesday, February 2nd
- Moultrie on Wednesday, February 3rd
- Lake Park on Thursday, February 4th
We are expecting to give over 400 vaccines in these four days. We are finalizing a date for an Adel vaccine clinic today.
COVID Vaccines are still limited to people over the age of 65, emergency personnel and care givers. This is a no-cost vaccine for the patient. We ask that they bring an ID and prescription insurance information. You can call your patients on your COVID vaccine list and give them the COVID phone number 229-363-8089. Have them leave their cell phone number and a link will be sent to them so they can schedule an appointment. If your patient’s need assistance in setting up the appointment, they can leave a message requesting a call back.

BLOODWORTH / TRXADE ORDERS – The cost of drugs has been under review by our team for the past few months. We have identified 20 – 30 products that will save us money by purchasing from a secondary company. Dani has placed a large Bloodworth and Trxade order for you. This order should last you one month. Dani will be placing all future orders for each location.
When you receive it, add the order to inventory and put on shelf. Pull any UNOPENED McKesson product and put in a tote for return NEXT WEEK. All returns should be completed between the 1st and 8th of each month. If you have any product over 6 months to return, please contact Jason Moring for an override (yearly clean up) so that they will not charge us a 15% fee. Next week Dani will make adjustments to your inventory, zeroing out McKesson and entering par levels for Bloodworth.
