First Impression Specialist

 

Responsibilities:

Serve and assist patients through the Chancy Way. Provide the best customer service experience to patients in the retail store, through phone communication, and through the drive-thru service. Meet expressed needs of patients and discover unexpressed needs of patients to provide pharmacy solutions.

 

Reports to: Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), Operations Management 

Major Functions:

  • Welcomes patients and visitors through doors of retail location, via phone, and through drive thru service.
  • Assists patients in finding over the counter (OTC) products and solutions on the retail floor.
  • Maintains OTC inventory by ordering and stocking pharmacy retail floor. 
  • Receives prescription drug requests through drop off and phone requests. 
  • Appropriately communicates requests with pharmacy techs and pharmacists through colored baskets. 
  • Collects, maintains, and enters patient’s current demographics and insurance information in pharmacy software with accuracy.  
  • Optimizes pharmacy operations and profitability by expediting medications to be picked up or delivered to patients. 
  • Identifies and onboards new patients in ReadyMed (medication synchronization) services.
  • Knowledgeable in all Chancy Drugs’ services through medication synchronization, compounding, hormone replacement therapy, immunizations, and delivery
  • Collects and records patient financial responsibilities for prescription drugs, OTC products, and services. 
  • Obtains patient signatures for all distributed prescription drugs as well as manages reports of missing signatures. 
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Adheres to company policies and follows procedures to maximize pharmacy’s efficiency and profitability. 

 

Salary: The salary of a FIS is based on experience, performance, and results. Wage increases can be obtained through performance reviews with achieving another tier/level in the current position. 

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Work Hours: Part-time
